Walk On: By Nathan Griner

Nathan’s repertoire includes one gospel sounding song. The title and his song have become my need, desire, necessity, and hope. Stepping out into the unknown can only be done with something called faith. Stepping out takes us outside our comfort zones, is always risky and moves us beyond what we have known or the past rules we have created.

Walk On
by Nathan Griner

Jesus walked on water not to prove he could
But to show the world that he loved them
I took a step out but I fell right in
But that don’t mean I don’t have faith in him

Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
I took a step out (I took a step out)
Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
But that don’t mean that (but that don’t mean that)

I know I’m a liar
I’m a sinner child
Wrapped up in this grand illusion
I took a step out but I fell right in
But that don’t mean I don’t have faith in him

Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
I took a step out (I took a step out)
Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
But that don’t mean that (but that don’t mean that

I’ve been running from the devil
Searching for my faith
Trying hard not to stray too far the lord will guide my way

Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
I took a step out (I took a step out)
Walk On (walk on)
Walk On (walk on)
But that don’t mean that (but that don’t mean that
